Foundation of Leprosy Patients' Friends is a non-profit organization registered under number 11322 in 2021 with the Ministry of Social Solidarity. It accepts zakat, charity, and donations, which are distributed to legitimate beneficiaries. The foundation began as an individual effort by a group of volunteers in 2014 to support leprosy patients and their families. Initially, it provided food, clothing, and financial support, but its services expanded to include a range of areas such as covering treatment costs, providing medications, prosthetic limbs, and other humanitarian aid for patients and their families. The organization began to consider how to deliver these services through a comprehensive, sustainable development program aimed at leprosy patients and their families.
